How to Delete a Trial Balance

You can delete one, more than one, or all of the trial balances in the Review Trial Balances List View.

To delete one or more trial balances from the list,

1. Click the check box next to each one that you want to delete to select it.
2. Click Delete in the grid menu to delete all of the selected trial balances.

To delete all of the trial balances from the list,

1. Click the top most check box to select all of the trial balances in the list.
2. Click Delete in the grid menu to delete them all.

Note 1: General Ledger Manager will not allow you to delete a trial balance that has been used in the creation of a master trial balance unless you first delete the master trial balance. If the master trial balance, however, has been consumed by a ONESOURCE application such as ONESOURCE Income Tax, you will not be able to delete either the master trial balance or any of the related trial balances.

Note 2: If you attempt to delete several trial balances at once and one of the trial balances cannot be deleted because it has been used in a master trial balance, then the delete operation will fail for all of the trial balances.
