How to Delete Import Layouts

In Import Layouts, you can only delete import layouts that are not assigned to a chart of accounts. You can only delete one unassigned import layout at a time.

To delete an unassigned import layout, do the following:

1. In the View field on top of the grid, click Unassigned to filter the list of import layouts so that only those layouts that are not assigned to charts of accounts display in the list.
2. Click the radio button next to the unassigned import layout you want to delete to select it.
3. Click the Delete button in the menu bar above the list of import layouts. A message confirms whether or not you want to delete the import layout.
4. Click Delete in the confirmation message to delete the unassigned import layout.

Note: The only way that you can delete an assigned import layout is to remove it from all of the charts of accounts to which it is assigned so that it becomes unassigned in Import Layouts and then take the steps shown above.
